Isabelle grew up on her family’s farm just outside Quebec City where she learned to grow her own food, cares for animals, and the value of hard work. She continues to run the farm with her husband Mathieu and their adult children, Élise and Pierre.

Recently, she travelled to Senegal to support the implementation of farming techniques that work for local populations and advocated for women to own property. During her time there, she learned about new approaches to farming through her hands-on experiences with locals who became her friends. Upon returning home, she joined Farm Radio International to support sustainable and inclusive agriculture, both in Canada and internationally.
